This is a colorized illustrated view of Broadway Avenue looking south from Erie Avenue. The postcard title is printed on the top right of the postcard : "East Erie and Broadway, Lorain, Ohio--14."
The illustration is of a busy evening scene in downtown Lorain. People are shown walking on both streets, and numerous cars can be seen parked at the curbs and also traveling up and down Broadway. The streetlights are visible.
The date of the postcard is not known, but is likely a scene from the mid- to late-1940s. The publisher on the card is Lorain Novelty, Lorain, Ohio. Also printed on the middle-back of the postcard is "Natural Color Post Card Made in U.S.A. by E.C. Kropp, Milwaukee, Wis (Gal).
There is handwriting on the card, much of which is illegible. Some words of the message include "Thanks (for?) & let me (illegible)". The name "B.H. Cooper, Box 149, Newport, KY." . The postcard does not show any cancellation marks or stamps.
