1900
/ Downtown Lorain
Several men are photographed standing in the doorway of the E.H. Fisher Jewelry Store and A.H. Beebe City Bookstore on Broadway Avenue in Lorain, Ohio. Fisher Jewelry and the City Bookstore shared a common storefront from about 1895 until the City Bookstore owner, J.C. Bins, relocated the business in 1903. The names of the men are unknown, but it is likely that the men are either owners of the two business or are employees of one of the two businesses. The photo likely dates from the turn of the 20th century (1899 - 1903). The photographer is unknown.
