The children's room in the original Lorain Public Library building on West 10th street.
A sign in the middle of the photograph reads: "It's such fun! Come to our story hour Thursday". Bookshelves are visible in the photo. The panel between the first and second set of shelves are decorated with signs depicting what might be Christmas trees. A dictionary stand is placed at center right in front of a pillar. A small sink is visible in the far right of the photo.
The date is not known, but may have been taken between 1930 - 1945.
