The National Bank of Commerce and the Candy Kitchen in the Lorain Block at the northwest corner of Broadway Avenue and Fourth Street in downtown Lorain, Ohio.

The Lorain Block, designed by architect Hamilton E. Ford, also housed a number of business offices. The Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) Hall occupied the third floor of the Lorain Block.

The National Bank of Commerce was founded in 1900. It was later renamed as the National Bank of Lorain in the 1930s. Lorain National Bank acquired the National Bank in 1961.

The Candy Kitchen was later known as the Lorain Candy Kitchen. It was in business at that location through 1936.

The photographer was famed early local photographer Willis Leiter. The date of the photograph is likely sometime between 1913 and 1920.
