Photograph of the fire which destroyed the Century Block Building, March 3, 1928

Fire engulfs the Century Block and Pierce Block buildings at Sixth street and Broadway Avenue on March 3, 1928. The fire destroyed the Lorain Banking Company, which was located in this block, as well as multiple business and professional offices. The fire also destroyed the Newark Shoe Store and apartments located in the buildings.
Written on the back of this photograph:
"(Earl?) Schwan, 230 5th St Lorain, O."
Also written on the back of the photograph in different handwriting: "Century Block Fire Mar. 3, 1928 < not same as Hotel Lorain in 1936".
The photograph is stamped "Lorain Studio 1428 Broadway Tel 6597 Lorain, Ohio". It could be assumed that a photographer from this studio took the photo.
At the bottom of the photo is a small typed label: "Please Return to Beverly Walbom".
