Automobile traffic in downtown Lorain, Ohio, July 1936

Four photographs of automobile traffic in downtown Lorain, Ohio.
The photographs on the top left and bottom right are of traffic on Broadway Avenue looking south from Erie Avenue. The photographs on the top right and bottom left are of vehicles traveling west on what was then the new Erie Avenue bascule bridge over the Black River.
There is a stamped label partly visible at the bottom right of the photo collection. The label reads "Rowley Collection". The Rowley family was affiliated with several newspapers in early Lorain history, including the Lorain Times Herald. It is possible that these photographs were taken by a news photographer for one of the newspapers. The photographer is unknown.
The date of the photographs is July 1936.
