The focus of the photograph is on the sidewalk and passerby on the west side of Broadway. A man in a suit and bowler hat is standing in the middle of the sidewalk facing south. A woman, possibly pushing a small cart, appears to have just stepped off the sidewalk into the street about 25 feet north of where the man is standing. A sign for a business named "Kline's" is visible in the center of the photo, as is a smaller sign for a business named "Wah T--- Laundry". Judging from the attire of the passerby, the photo appears to have been taken in the very early 1900s (1900 - 1905). The photographer is unknown.
