This house is included in the 1993 Ohio Historic Inventory of the Charleston Village neighborhood in the city of Lorain. In the OHI, the house is called the "Wickens - McCahon House". George Wickens, a prominent businessman & former Lorain mayor, was the first owner of the home. The McCahon family owned McCahon Printers at 647 Broadway, a few blocks from their home. The photographer is unknown. The date of the photograph is attributed to the 1960s.
